Ages 5-7

No programming experience required.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming part of everyday life—from voice assistants and smart toys to creative tools that help us draw, tell stories, and solve problems. This fun, hands-on class introduces young children to AI in an age-appropriate, playful, and safe environment.

Through games, storytelling, movement, art, and guided activities, children discover what AI is, how it learns from examples, and how it can help people create amazing things. They experiment with AI-powered drawing and storytelling tools, explore simple pattern recognition activities, and learn that while AI is a powerful helper, people provide the imagination, kindness, and creativity.

Every session combines active play, discussion, and creative projects designed to build curiosity, confidence, and foundational technology literacy without requiring reading or typing skills.

Scratch Jr Beginner
Ages 5-7

ScratchJr is an introductory programming language that enables young children (ages 5–7) to create their own interactive stories and games. Children snap together graphical programming blocks to make characters move, jump, dance, and sing. Studies show that early coding helps young children develop knowledge structures like sequencing and causality, while building critical STEM problem-solving skills.

In this unique lab, children start with unplugged activities to understand coding basics, then bring their ideas to life on tablets. By the end, each child creates and shares their own interactive project.

RoboQuest LEGO Robotics-1
Beginners for Ages 5-7

RoboQuest LEGO Robotics combines the world-renowned building system with advanced sensors and motors. In this lab, students move beyond simple bricks to explore the fundamentals of engineering, mechanics, and computational thinking. They design, build, and code robots that can react to their environment, solve complex challenges, and execute precise movements.

Our lab is designed to bridge the gap between playing with bricks and understanding real-world STEM concepts. Research from LEGO Education and Tufts University shows that hands-on robotics significantly enhances spatial reasoning and collaborative problem-solving skills in elementary students.
